Water Depth Indicator, Water Level Gauge, 30 meter
Water Depth Indicator, Water Level Gauge, 30 meter
Overview
The steel ruler water level gauge provides the most accurate method for measuring water levels. It is typically used to measure the water level in wells, boreholes, and water level pipes. It is particularly suitable for the observation of underground water levels in hydropower projects or the manual inspection of the phreatic line of earth-rock dams. This instrument can be used during construction and for long-term safety monitoring of projects, complying with the technical specifications for earth-rock dam safety monitoring.
Structural Principles
The measurement of water level changes consists of two main parts:
Ground receiving instrument: The steel ruler water level gauge, composed of a probe, steel ruler cable, receiving system, and winding reel.
3.1 Probe Section: Made of stainless steel with internal water-resistance contact points. When the contact point touches the water surface, the receiving system is connected; when it leaves the water surface, the receiving system automatically shuts off.
3.2 Steel Ruler Cable Section: The steel ruler and wires are integrated using a plastic coating process, which prevents the steel ruler from rusting and simplifies the operation process, making readings more convenient and accurate.
3.3 Receiving System Section: Consists of a sounder and a peak indicator. The sounder emits a continuous beeping sound from a buzzer, and the peak indicator is a voltmeter pointer. Either can be selected via a toggle switch; measurement accuracy remains consistent regardless of the system used.
3.4 Winding Reel Section: Consists of a winding disk and a bracket. The receiving system and battery are housed within the core of the reel, with the steel ruler cable wound around the outside.
